The LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic project was presented at the session on the university’s contribution to sustainable development objectives, within the framework of the Ibero-American Conference on Sustainable Development Objectives, which is currently being held in Salamanca. The presentation was made by Luis Ruiz, responsible for the project at the Technical University of Madrid.

This event, which is arousing a great deal of interest, aims to serve as a framework for reflection and a common work space to ensure that different levels of governments, companies, universities and civil society organizations in Ibero-America promote the necessary transformations to achieve the Sustainable Development Objectives of the United Nations Agenda 2030 in the region. Thanks to the diversity of guests and the interactive nature of the programme, the Conference hopes to become a hub for action that will mobilize those who have the capacity to make changes and influence decisions to achieve them.

This is an initiative of the University of Salamanca, the Technical University of Madrid and Iberdrola, within the framework of the commemorative events of the VIII Centenary of the University of Salamanca, and has the collaboration of the Ibero-American General Secretariat and the Regional Government of Castilla y León.
