On November 3 and 5, the Impulso Verde building from LIFE Lugo + Biodinámico will receive visits from different scientific and wood associations from Spain, Portugal and France. In these guided tours of the building, its construction and integration with its surroundings will be analyzed, as an example of innovative and sustainable building.

These visits are part of the EGURALT European project, which is funded by the FEDER funds and that promotes the exchange of knowledge acquired in the field of timber construction in the SUDOE area (Southwest Europe), always with an eye on the fight against climate change through the use of materials that come from renewable and sustainable sources.

Thus, on November 3 a workshop organized by the Council of Lugo and PEMADE, one of our project partners, will be held from 5:00 p.m., which will be attended by the FSC manager Spain, Gonzalo Anguita and in which will participate the SerQ -Centro de Inovação e Competências da Floresta- Associação (Portugal); Pôle de Compétitivité Xylofutur Prod Mat Forets Cultivees (France); Nasuvinsa (Entity responsible for promoting public housing in Navarra); the Center for Forestry and Industry Promotion and Services Foundation of Castilla y León (Spain); the Navarra Wood Business Association (Spain); the Baskegur Association of Bizkaia (Spain) and the Axencia Galega da Industria Forestal -XERA- CIS Madeira (Spain).

On Friday, November 5, starting at 5:00 p.m., another visit to the building will be held, with the Fundación Laboral da Construción en Galicia and organized by PEMADE.

The EGURALT project focuses on three fields: the promotion of public wooden housing in height; the development of new technological products in wood and the transformation of the wood sector necessary for the paradigm shift of construction in the Sudoe space.
