The plantations receive new school visits
The month of May ended with new school visits from Lugo to the plantations. Both visits are included in our photogallery and can also be visited from this link.
On Thursday, May 30, the students of 6th grade from the CEIP Anexa of Lugo could see first-hand the different actions that are being developed in our plantations, as well as the goals that the LIFE Lugo + Biodinámico has marked for the next years.
Friday 31st it was the turn of CEIP Menéndez Pelayo. The children visited the plantations, the wetland and even had the opportunity to contemplate the booth that rises in one of the areas of action of the project.
The purpose of these visits, which are framed within the actions of the Foro Verde from LIFE Lugo + Biodinámico, is to disseminate the importance of the recovery of native forests and their role in the fight against climate change, as well as the enhancement of the ecosystems of the Lugo area.
We hope that these are the first of many joint actions between the schools in the city and our project.
